Notebooks, bags, and uniforms are being packed for children starting the term without supplies.
As the new school term begins, Navnikunj Foundation is organizing a School Kit Drive to help children from families who may find it difficult to afford essential school supplies. The initiative aims to ensure that every child can start the new academic year with the basic materials they need to attend school with confidence and dignity.
Throughout this month, our volunteers are coming together at the community centre to prepare and pack school kits for children. Each kit is carefully prepared according to the requirements shared by the respective school. A typical kit includes notebooks, a school bag, and the required uniform pieces, helping families reduce some of the financial burden associated with the beginning of a new term.
Families participating in our Learning Support Program can request a school kit for their children. Our team will coordinate with eligible families and help ensure that the kits reach children who need them most.
The drive also provides an opportunity for individuals, families, and organizations to contribute directly to a child's education. Donors can sponsor a complete school kit through our Donate page, allowing their contribution to have a direct and meaningful impact.
We believe that access to education begins with access to the basic tools required to participate. A school bag, notebooks, and a uniform may seem simple, but for a child and their family, this support can make the start of a new school year a little easier.
Together, we can help children begin the new term prepared, confident, and ready to learn.
